The information provided here on marriage preparation is intended to assist you in preparing for marriage in the Archdiocese of Omaha. If you have recently become engaged, congratulations! Each of our marriage preparation programs provides you with a solid understanding of the Catholic Christian tradition of marriage. Recognizing that many of our couples coming to marriage preparation plan to marry someone of a different faith it is important to us that each couple feels welcome at each step of the preparation process. This is an exciting time for you and your fiancé. The staff in this office work closely with our priests to prepare hundreds of couples who desire to enter into the sacrament of matrimony. It is our hope that each step in the process of preparation will draw you closer to each other and to Christ so that your wedding day will truly be a once in a lifetime celebration of life and love for you and the entire community.
