Courage/Encourage
Courage is a pontifically approved apostolate to assist those who are struggling with same-sex attraction. Courage offers support for persons who are striving to live chaste lives in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church. The Courage of Omaha local chapter of the national Courage Apostolate offers a ministry of spiritual support, not a program to change a person's sexual attraction, through a monthly support group held in Omaha.
EnCourage is a related group to assist those who have a loved one struggling with same-sex attraction. The EnCourage support group also meets monthly in Omaha.
If you, or someone you care about, is looking for information and/or support related to same sex attraction, confidential assistance is available by calling the local Courage EnCourage Hotline of Omaha at 402.557.5692 or e-mailing courage@archomaha.org, or you may contact the Family Life Office Director.
You may also call the national hotline number at 203.803.1564 or visit the Courage Apostolate website
