Office of Missions & Justice
The Office of Missions and Justice seeks to provide the formation, both informative and active, in the Catholic Social Teaching in the Archdiocese. Through events, courses, opportunities for volunteering, and information, the Office provides an opportunity for Catholics and non-Catholics in the Archdiocese of Omaha to come learn and live out the social Gospel of which we learn in Scripture and Tradition.
Visit one of the links on the left side to find out more about some of the work we do, as well as information about organizations that are involved in direct work with the socially, spiritually, and materially poor.
If you are interested in learning about the Social Teaching of the Catholic Church, please be sure to check out the Social Doctrine link on the side in order to download summaries of Church statements, a resource list for helpful books and websites, as well as information about events.
In everything, remember that we are called to love as Christ loved, and to serve as He served by laying down our lives for our neighbor. If the Office can be of any service to you and the work you do, please do not hesitate to contact us.
