Have you heard of Natural Family Planning (NFP)?
If you interested in learning more about it, the Family Life Office has developed a 3 hour "come and see" class on the beauty of marital intimacy and responsible love which includes education on the biological basis of NFP and details on charts and usage statistics; all in the context of the Church's care for us. The class is led by certified teachers from the Couple-to-Couple League and FertilityCare Centers. Couples attending have the opportunity to ask candid questions of practicing NFP couples as well as spend time in couple prayer and discussion. The cost is $25 per couple. Celebrating Life's Transition to Adulthood
The Couple-to-Couple League is offering educational programs for mother/daughter, father/son that will explore God's gift of human fertility and growing up and becoming an adult, including topics like: changes in the adolescent body, functions of the human reproductive system, respect and reverence for our sexuality, the virtue of chastity, and more. Programs are open to girls age 10 to 12 and boys age 11 to 14, are offered on various evenings February 27-March 26 at parishes in Omaha and Elkhorn. Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Forty Hours Devotion
Join the St. Gerald parishioners in Ralston as they gather as a people of faith to honor the great gift of the Eucharist. This devotion will begin with a Solemn Mass of Exposition at noon on Sunday, March 11, 2012, with an Evening Prayer and Benediction at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday. The homilist for Evening Prayer on Sunday will be Fr. Scott Hastings, and on Monday will be Fr. Paul Hoesing. Spaghetti Dinner Benefit
Music in Catholic Schools will again host an all-you-care to eat spaghetti dinner benefit, Tuesday, March 13, 2012, 4:30-8:30 p.m. at Lisa's Radial Café, 817 N. 40 Street. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children age 10 and under. Proceeds will go to the Dave Delaney medical bill fund and to Professor Charles Miller Scholarship Fund. Lenten Retreat for the "Young at Heart"
Father Dave Korth, retreat director, will speak on Giving Voice to the Soul: Praying with Music March 22, 2012, 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the St. Benedict Center, Schuyler, Nebraska. The retreat will consist of two talks, Mass and lunch. Father Korth will draw all into prayer using his Native American flute and will reflect on the role of music in helping open hearts to God during the season of Lent. A weekend retreat based on the Spirituality of St. Ignatius Loyola will be offered by Fr. Larry Gillick, S.J. and Fr. Greg Carlson, S.J. of the Deglman Center for Ignatian Spirituality at Creighton University. It will be held at the St. Benedict Retreat Center in Schuyler, Friday evening, March 23 to Sunday noon, March 25, 2012. It is a silent retreat with conferences by Fathers Carlson and Gillick encouraging prayer on the themes from the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius.
