Director of Faith Development for the Young - Holy Ghost/St Stanislaus Parishes
We are looking to fill a part-time, paid position with a qualified person who will plan, administer and coordinate one Faith Development program designed to nurture spiritual growth and Catholic education for the young of our parishes ages 5-13. An Archdiocese of Omaha Catechist Certification, Level lll or demonstrated experience managing a parish Faith Development program is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree or graduate studies in education, theology/religious studies would be a plus.

Director - Divine Mercy Parish (Schuyler)
Divine Mercy Parish in Schuyler is looking for a full time Director of Faith Formation. Divine Mercy Parish consists of over 800 families. During the 2012-2013 school year, our Faith Formation Program had over 50 catechists and about 500 students K-12.

Requirements:

- needs to be a practicing Catholic with a college degree/preferably Theology
- must be able to read, write and speak both Spanish and English
- must have computer experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- needs to be highly organized
- must be able to work in a multicultural setting
- must be able to construct a Catholic Faith Formation Curriculum and help catechist understand and teach it
- must be self motivated
- can meet deadlines
- can work with catechist, adults and youth
- needs to keep accurate reports on expenses and tasks done in the Catholic Faith Formation Program
