Emerging Models Conference
All the faithful share the responsibility of building up the church. The church, in turn responds to the needs of the faithful, forming communities and providing leadership. As we study the emerging models of pastoral leadership, we continue in a tradition rich in resources and theological understanding. In today’s Church new parish settings, evolving leadership roles, and creative applications of traditional religious practices are changing how we provide vibrant parish life.
Bishop Blase J. Cupich, Episcopal Advisor to the Emerging Models of Pastoral Leadership Project, will address the theological, sacramental, and ecclesiological context within which to understand pastoral leadership in the United States, today. Marti R. Jewell, D.Min., cand., will address the major findings of the Emerging Models of Pastoral Leadership Project.
Join us as we share insights into, and theological reflection on, the research developed by the Emerging Models Project on what makes excellent parishes and pastoral leadership in today’s Church.
