The Archdiocese of Omaha is proud to announce the new Elden F. Curtiss Youth Camp and Retreat Center situated just west of Omaha on 98 acres.
With the active support of Archbishop Elden Curtiss and several generous donors, this property, formerly a YMCA camp, was acquired by the Archdiocese in December, 2006.
Our vision is to provide a space that transmits our Catholic identity, both in programming and in the environment. We aim to serve as a ministry center that complements the faith formation programs happening in schools and parishes on behalf of young people and their families.
Located in Elkhorn, this facility is close to Omaha and convenient for the entire Archdiocese. It is on a bluff bordered by West 'Q' Street and the Elkhorn River. A short hike up one of the many trails provides a stunning view of the Elkhorn River Valley.
