Disarming the security system
For disarming a selected area of the building security system, please follow the instructions provided here.
Please note, that while the system is armed, you can only enter the area through an entry/exit delay door without causing an alarm. If you are unsure of which door is an entry/exit delay door in a particular area, contact security so they can provide that information.
- If the keypad says “ENTER CODE”, proceed to step 4.
- On the keypad, select the button that says “COMMAND”
- Select the button directly below the word “DISARM”
- Enter your 4-digit security code provided to you.
- After entering your code, the system allows you to disarm either all of the areas to which you have access or just selected areas. Always select the button under the word “ALL”.
- The security system is now disarmed for the area you are in only.

Arming the Security System
For arming a selected area of the building security system,
please follow the instructions provided here.
Please note, if you are the last person in your area, it is your responsibility to arm the security system.
- Press the “COMMAND” button until “ARM” & “DISARM” is displayed.
- Select the button directly below “ARM”.
- Enter your 4-digit security code.
- Select the button directly below “YES”.
- Once the keypad shows “ALL SYSTEM ON”, you have 60 seconds to exit the area.
ALARMS DURING BUSINESS HOURS
If you inadvertently set off the alarm, immediately disarm the system and then contact security immediately at 402.677.1586 so that law enforcement does not respond.
ALARMS AFTER BUSINESS HOURS
If you inadvertently set off the alarm, immediately disarm the system and then contact our emergency pager at 402.422.9838 and leave a number we can reach you at so that law enforcement does not respond.
